In the Garden

Fingers have been occupied with other creative pursuits recently.  Handing this over for the newest member of our clan to enjoy, I find myself missing the mad stitchery, the solving of design problems unique to this art form.  And now, back to the drawing board - literally.

  1. Great design and a lot of work! It looks amazing on the picture.

    And congratulation !!

  2. The colors, patterns and design are really nice. I have a thing for baby quilts too, having made one for each of the newbies in my family. A lot of work, but the children all end up being VERY attached to them, even when they've grown up. Your hard work is worth the effort!

  3. Thanks, guys. Mardi, I started doing these simply because with a little one in the house myself, it was the only creative thing I COULD do in five minute increments. Sending them off is a bit of a pang, but I feel I send so much of myself with them, they must be portable, washable hugs.

  4. I love that!-- "...portable, washable hugs." :)
They are truly an art form--and this one looks really beautiful. Lucky baby!

  5. This is so beautiful! I don't have the patience for sewing, but I definitely appreciate the art and craftsmanship. Such a lucky baby!

So glad you stopped by. I love to hear your thoughts. Drop me a line! Hurrah! Aino
